Sufism in Europe is examined through the intersection of Islamic spirituality, esoteric traditions, and the modern New Age movement. The book explores how Sufi ideas and practices have been transmitted, interpreted, and sometimes transformed within European cultural environments. Particular attention is given to questions of identity, religious authority, cultural translation, and the ways spiritual traditions adapt when they move across geographical boundaries. Rather than treating European Sufism as a simple continuation of Middle Eastern traditions, the study highlights the complex interactions between Islam, mysticism, modern spirituality, and contemporary Western culture.
